If there is one thing that has been learned, especially in the last five years, sites like youtube and myspace are great ways for artists to get feedback and get their music out there. My problem with games like this is it takes away from the actual learning to play anything. You could have loads more fun actually learning to DJ or play guitar than sitting on your butt trying to beat your past highest score. Take that time and put it into learning to play an instrument. 100% of people may very well go on be a DJ or Guitar icon, it all starts with a guitar chord, or in this case a record. My $0.02

To continue my rant on DJ Hero.
This....
Destructoid report:

DJ Hero hasn't been on store shelves for more than a few hours, and already the entrepenuers are crawling out of the woodwork.

One enterprising North Carolina resident is already offering up his DJ Hero services on Craigslist. For $50 and a meal, this wannabe-DJ will spin mixes for three hours. $75 plus a meal for a "end time TBA party." He's available for birthdays, weddings, retirement, or "just chilling."

Of course, the host will have to provide a television and speakers. I mean, what else is this guy going to hook up his Xbox 360 to?

What a germ. XD

I have been using Virtual DJ for a good minute, most fun I must say! After the first of the year I am gonna start saving up some cash to buy some tables from a friend of mine. He is selling his two tables, a mixer, and four crates of vinyl.

Or for $300 you can get a Hercules RMX which already comes with Virtual DJ. Using Virtual DJ will get you use to other DJ programs used by professionals. Check it out. It comes pre-mapped for Virtual DJ.
