A place to speak and learn other languages. What good does speaking another language do you if you have no one to talk to?

Shalom,

Hebrew is incredible. I love to sit and chant it..just to relax me. Some of the blessings (especially the Micha Mocha, Shema, and Aaronic Benediction) are just incredible to me.

Infact, I'm taking some verses and putting them on my iPod in Hebrew so that I can meditate on the Scripture. Hebrew is so beatiful! I LOVE it!

Hey does anybody want to tutor a hebrew half way dropout (i just started another calls my rabbi was moving WAYYY to fast im stuck on numbers and translating sentences btw its biblical hebrew if there is a differance :huh:

Nope, it's something a friend and I made up. It's a blessing, but it's not something you'll find in a prayer book.

So trent how long have you been studying Hebrew? Ive been taking it for about two weeks! Its pretty fun. So Atah rotseh lishtot mashehu? hehehe :D

Hey Katie, is a long time less than two weeks??? lol.
Mine was Blessed is the man who walks in the light.
and the other one was the feminine version. I couldn't leave all those marvelous ladies out. :shifty: :devious: . haha.
Sarah, is that modern Hebrew, or Ancient Hebrew?? As in Biblical.
And I have been learning Hebrew for about... 3 years?? Maybe 4.
What is the root of Mashehu? Mem Shin Aleph or Heh?? Or Ayin.

i can read and write cursive and block, (with vowels XD, a tad without)
